RESOLUTION NO. R <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> -JANDI SERVICES- <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to provide weed <br /> removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County Trustee,the City of Decatur <br /> and privately-owned violation lots which have been divided into 12 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 2, 4, 5 and 6 were awarded to Jandi Services; and <br /> WHEREAS,the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2021. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to make <br /> payments to Jandi Services,upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at violation lots at$55 <br /> per mowing in Districts 2, 4, 5 and 6, for an estimated annual cost of$31,000 (Thirty-one <br /> thousand dollars) and for the annual maintenance of District 2 at a cost of$34,081 (Thirty-four <br /> thousand eighty-one dollars); District 4 at a cost of$33,600 (Thirty-three thousand six hundred <br /> dollars); District 5 at a cost of$33,600 (Thirty-three thousand six hundred dollars); and, District <br /> 6 at a cost of$24,480 (Twenty-four thousand four hundred eighty dollars). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 5ffi day of April 2021. <br /> U� <br /> LIE MOORE WOLFE, �AYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CITY CLERK <br />
