P,2bo 5 Cp <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY OF DECATUR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF TWO (2) FIRE APPARATUS AND AGREEMENT <br /> FOR DEBT FINANCING OF APPARATUS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur,through the Houston/Galveston Area Council (H- <br /> GAC), desires to acquire two (2) Pierce Fire Apparatus, from MacQueen Emergency, St. Paul, <br /> Minnesota, replacing two (2) Pierce 2001 pumpers, at a net acquisition price not to exceed <br /> $1,400,000.00, be accepted and a purchase order be awarded accordingly. <br /> Section 2. That the City of Decatur desires to enter into a debt financing arrangement for <br /> the acquisition of the new apparatus with a not to exceed principal amount of$1,400,000.00, at a <br /> not to exceed interest rate of 4.00%, for a financing term not to exceed eight(8)years. <br /> Section 3.
