R ° 0 �.�Cp I <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> -F & E LAWN AND JANITORIAL SERVICES LLC- <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to provide weed <br /> removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County Trustee,the City of Decatur <br /> and privately-owned violation lots which have been divided into 12 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, District 5 was awarded to F &E Lawn and Janitorial Services LLC; and <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2023. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to make <br /> payments to F &E Lawn and Janitorial Services LLC, upon receipt of invoice for said weed <br /> removal at violation lots at$75 per mowing in District 5, for an estimated annual cost of$16,350 <br /> (Sixteen thousand three hundred fifty dollars) and for the annual maintenance of District 5 at a <br /> cost of$42,065 (Forty-two thousand sixty five dollars). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April 2022. <br /> L I k6 <br /> JULIE MOORE WOLFE, M OR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> b*a) <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CITY CLEVK <br />
