ORDINANCE NO. ka-a,'I3 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> -CHAPTER 74- <br /> - SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM— <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Chapter 74 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois,be, and <br /> the same is hereby modified and amended by amending Section 10, so that Section 10 as so <br /> modified and amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 10. RATE. ...(B) Effective May 1, 2016, and continuing annually on May 1 <br /> thereafter, Sewer User Charge Rates contained in this Chapter will increase by 2.5 percent or by <br /> the annual percentage change of the U.S. Department of Labor Midwest Urban Consumer Price <br /> Index for each corresponding January 1 to December 31 of the preceding year, whichever is <br /> greater, except for the year 2022 for which the increase will be by 2.5 percent. <br /> SECTION 2.
