RESOLUTION NO. R2022�-84 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE WORK OF <br /> OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR REPAIRS FOR TRANSIT FACILITIES <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to repair overhead doors at multiple transit facilities <br /> including the bus wash, the maintenance building, and the bus garage; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City received multiple bids for this repair project and Taza <br /> Construction, was the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager or designee accept the bid by Tiles in Styles LLC dba <br /> Taza Construction and authorize the work included and necessary to repair the overhead doors in <br /> transit in the amount of$21,785.00. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to pay an additional 2% of contract as a <br /> bonus if the MBE goal is exceeded. <br /> Section 3.
