RESOLUTION NO. Q&3 -- cb <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AWARDING A CONTRACT <br /> TO WASTE MANAGEMENT OF ILLINOIS, INC. FOR <br /> GARBAGE SERVICE AT CITY FACILITIES <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur solicited private garbage haulers for pricing for services <br /> to provide garbage service for the City of Decatur facilities beginning from present to <br /> October 14, 2024. <br /> WHEREAS, Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. was the only respondent. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT <br /> RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the bid be accepted from Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. and a <br /> contract awarded accordingly. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager, or designee, is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> execute any documents necessary to effectuate this provision of service with Waste Management <br /> of Illinois, Inc. as presented. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2023. <br /> (f I/'W"' .
