RESOLUTION NO. \ RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE STATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS TO PAY THE CITY'S PORTION FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS TO IL 121 UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO 0.6 MILES NORTHWEST OF INTERSTATE 72 BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE CITY PROJECT 2023-06 SECTION NO. 23-00306-00-TL NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$25,000 of State Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of rehabilitation of streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. Section 2. That only those streets, highways; and operations as listed and described as part of the improvements to IL 121 are eligible for State Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be designated as Sec- tion 23-00306-00-TL. Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a certified state- ment showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period. Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit four certified copies of original BLR 09110 forms, attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and made a part hereof, and transmit with two certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois.
