RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br /> RESOLUTION RE-ALLOCATING CDBG-CV FUNDS AND AMERICAN RESCUE <br /> PLAN ACT FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS,the City has received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) <br /> funds to be utilized for a wide range of community development activities to assist communities <br /> with preventing, preparing for, and responding to the direct and indirect effects of the <br /> coronavirus pandemic and to mitigate future risks; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to be <br /> utilized to prevent,prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, including energy efficient upgrades, <br /> rehabilitation, and repairs for health improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City wishes to re-allocate $530,000 of its portion of the CDBG-CV <br /> funds for the acquisition and rehabilitation of the former Wee Folks childcare facility; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City wishes to re-allocate up to $400,000 of its portion of the ARPA <br /> funds for the rehabilitation of the former Wee Folks childcare facility; and, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois; <br /> SECTION ONE.
