R=01� -4 r� <br /> RESOLUTION INDICATING INTENT TO ANNEX AN <br /> UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, SETTING A HEARING TO <br /> CONSIDER SUCH ANNEXATION,AND DIRECTING <br /> PUBLICATION OF HEARING NOTICE <br /> -2093 SOLAR AVENUE- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur desires to annex a certain unincorporated territory <br /> containing sixty(60)acres or less, located on 2093 Solar Avenue, and more specifically described <br /> as follows: <br /> Lot Three(3) of Solar Heights, as per Plat recorded in Book 1575, Page 245 of the Records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon County, Illinois.; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate limits; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City is authorized to annex the area without a petition pursuant to 65 ILCS <br /> 5/7-1-13. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The City Clerk be,and she is hereby,directed to publish a Notice of Intent to Annex <br /> the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on April 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit A and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> 2.
