RESOLUTION NO. I40---�-y-3yCta <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS FOR THE <br /> REPLACEMENT OF THE JASPER STREET UNDERPASS LIGHTING BY <br /> MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE CITY PROJECT 2024-19, <br /> SECTION 24-00419-00-LT <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$200,000.00 of State Motor Fuel <br /> Tax funds for the purpose of replacing the Jasper Street Underpass lighting system under the <br /> applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only the Jasper Street underpass lighting system as part of the Jasper <br /> Street Underpass Lighting Project, are eligible for State Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be <br /> designated as Section 24-00419-00-LT. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, <br /> a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for <br /> this period; and <br /> Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit four original certified copies of <br /> BLR 09110 forms, attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and made a part hereof, and transmit with two <br /> certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at <br /> Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of November 2024. <br /> MOORE WOLFE, MAYO <br /> v ATS . <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CITY CLERK <br />
