RESOLUTION NO. 6-0--A-30P <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID FROM ERIC VIEBACK& SON <br /> EXCAVATING & TRUCKING, INC., FOR THE LAKE DECATUR NORTH WETLAND <br /> PROJECT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for the Lake Decatur North Wetland <br /> Project,presented herewith as Exhibit A and made a part hereof be, and it is hereby,received and <br /> placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Eric Vieback& Son Excavating& Trucking Inc. in the amount <br /> of$98,130.00 be accepted and a purchase order be awarded accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the Purchasing Supervisor be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> execute a purchase order between the City of Decatur, Illinois and Eric Vieback& Son <br /> Excavating&Trucking, Inc., for their bid price of$98,130.00. <br /> Section 4. That at the end of the contract and after the City has verified and documented <br /> that Minority Business Enterprise expenditures met or exceeded twenty percent(20%) of the <br /> total contract value,the City will pay 2% of the final contract value up to a maximum of$50,000 <br /> as a bonus. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December 2024. <br /> Julie Moore Wolfe,Mayo <br /> Attest: <br /> Kim Althoff, City CVk <br />
