RESOLUTION NO. R2024-110 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR THIRD TRANSIT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDMENT WITH MV TRANSPORTATION, INC. <br /> WHEREAS,the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and <br /> body politic ("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the <br /> Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires some improvements for mass transit operations, specifically <br /> as it relates to increased transit operations; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City finds that this third amendment with MV Transportation, Inc., <br /> provides needed changes toward this goal. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur, Illinois management and operations agreement with MV <br /> Transportation Inc. be and is hereby amended as described in the attached agreement as Exhibit <br /> A, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute the second amendment to the Mass Transit Management and Operations <br /> Agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois and MV Transportation, Inc. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 16'h day of December 2024. <br /> JU MOORE WOLFE,MAYOY/ <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM LTHOFF, CITY CLERK <br />
