RESOLUTION NO. a-It3-- <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH U.S. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT(HUD) <br /> FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS(CDBG) <br /> AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP (HOME)FUNDS FY 2025 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur desires to continue our partnership with U.S. <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD)to bring funding to our community and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City has provided millions of dollars to low and moderate-income <br /> residents and expanded opportunities for these same residents and; <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council agree accepting these grants are in the best <br /> interests of the City of Decatur. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the allocation of$1,313,759.00 CDBG and $359,437.89 HOME funds as <br /> outlined in the FY 2025 Action Plan be, and the same are, hereby approved, adopted and placed <br /> on file. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee be, and they are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute said agreements attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
