RESOLUTION NO. (2.3- G- 0.6)-- <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> L G— O -RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FY2025 SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL <br /> COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ACTION PLAN <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur(" City") is devoted to reducing traffic fatalities and <br /> injuries and applied for and was awarded a FY2023 Safe Streets and Roads for All Planning <br /> grant by the Federal Highway Administration("FHWA"); and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City engaged Guidepost Solutions LLC and Kapur&Associates, Inc. <br /> ("Contractors")to develop the FY2025 Safe Streets and Roads For All Comprehensive Safety <br /> Action Plan("SS4A Action Plan")that, among other things, implements systemic safety <br /> improvements, and prioritizes projects with a high impact on safety within the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Contractors completed the SS4A Action Plan and submitted its final <br /> report to the City on October 24, 2025. <br /> NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
