RESOLUTION NO. Raoati-3+a <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A BEHIND THE METER SOLAR PROJECT FOR <br /> THE WILLIAM STREET PUMP STATION <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> WHEREAS: the City of Decatur owns the William Street Pump Station located at 2707 <br /> E. William St. which use a significant amount of electricity; and, <br /> WHEREAS: the City of Decatur has supported and authorized staff to explore the solar <br /> potential to offset the electric supply needs for this facility; and, <br /> WHEREAS: the City desires to pursue a proposed behind the meter solar project based on <br /> the ROI and benefits of renewable energy production. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur as follows: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager,or their designee, is authorized to execute the proposed <br /> power purchase agreement(PPA), of which the draft is attached here as Exhibit A. <br /> Section 2.
