RESOLUTION NO. Iw h(. r t a)- <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT UNDER AN AGREEMENT <br /> FOR TECHNICAL PLANNING SERVICES BETWEEN THE <br /> DECATUR URBAN AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY(DUATS) <br /> AND MCKENNA ASSOCIATES INC. FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> WHEREAS,the Decatur Urban Area Transportation Study(DUATS)is the federally <br /> designated Metropolitan Planning Organization(MPO) for the Decatur urbanized area; and, <br /> WHEREAS, DUATS has entered into an Agreement with McKenna Associates, Inc. for <br /> the development of a Comprehensive Plan for the City of Decatur, attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> A; and, <br /> WHEREAS, as fiscal agent, the City of Decatur is required to initially make payments <br /> under the Agreement on behalf of DUATS; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such expenditures are eligible for reimbursement through state <br /> transportation planning funds administered to DUATS. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur, as fiscal agent for DUATS, is authorized to make <br /> payments in accordance with the Agreement between DUATS and McKenna Associates, Inc. <br /> Section 2. The City shall seek reimbursement for all eligible costs through applicable <br /> DUATS funding sources. <br /> Section 3.
