R2026-• I Li <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL <br /> FROM THE DECATUR POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR USE OF OPIOID <br /> SETTLEMENT FUNDS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the proposal submitted by the Decatur Police Department, attached herto <br /> and marked Exhibit A, is hereby received,placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That opioid settlement funds in the amount not to exceed $110,778, may be <br /> provided to the Decatur Poliec Department to be used exclusively for cost related to providing <br /> school-based education, early intervention,prevention programming, and community <br /> engagement activities designed to reduce risk factors associated with opioid misuse and <br /> substance abuse. <br /> Section 3.
