RESOLUTION NO. R2026— 16 O <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A TICKET RESELLER <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> AND ADDENDUM WITH FLIXBUS, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, FlixBus provides intercity bus transportation services that serve the Decatur <br /> community; and, <br /> WHEREAS, FlixBus offers a ticket reseller program that allows authorized entities to sell <br /> tickets on its behalf through secure access to its online booking platform,and under this <br /> arrangement the City would be provided with secure login credentials to assist customers with <br /> ticket purchases; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a ticket reseller agreement with FlixBus to <br /> formalize the terms and conditions under which the City may sell tickets, receive compensation, <br /> and provide this service to the public; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the reseller agreement, the City would receive a ten percent <br /> (10%) commission on tickets sold as compensation for providing this service; and, <br /> WHEREAS, WHEREAS, FlixBus has approved an addendum authorizing MV Public <br /> Transportation, Inc. to serve as its subcontractor under the ticket reseller agreement. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the City to enter into a ticket reseller <br /> agreement with FlixBus and to participate in the FlixBus ticket reseller program for the sale of <br /> FlixBus tickets at 353 E. William Street, Decatur, Illinois. <br /> Section 2. The City Manager or his/her designee is hereby authorized to execute the Ticket <br /> Reseller Agreement and Addendum with FlixBus, Inc, attached hereto. <br /> Section 3.
