RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-64 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - JIM KAUFMAN LAWN CARE- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 2, 3 and 4 were awarded to Jim Kaufman Lawn Care; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to Jim Kaufman Lawn Care, upon receipt of invoice for said weed <br /> removal at $40 per mowing in District 2 and 3 and $45 per mowing in District 4, for an <br /> estimated annual cost of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($16,350.00) <br /> and a total two-year cost of approximately Thirty-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars <br /> ($32,700.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. <br /> EL LRO M YOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> d'z�' "*,/ L.4(�- - <br /> CITY CLERrlu <br />
