RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-62 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - PRO LAWN CARE- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 1, 6, 9, 12 and 19 were awarded to Pro Lawn Care, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to Pro Lawn Care, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at $22 <br /> per mowing in Districts 1, 6, 12 and 19, and $25 for District 9 for an estimated annual <br /> cost of Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($18,714.00) and a total <br /> two-year cost of approximately Thirty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Eight <br /> Dollars ($37,428.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. <br /> I I <br /> I' <br /> r' <br /> A LRO , MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Z <br /> CITY CLE <br /> L <br />
