RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-61 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - T.O.M. LAWNCARE- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 5 and 7 were awarded to T.O.M. Lawncare, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to T.O.M. Lawncare, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at <br /> $38 per mowing in Districts 5 and 7, for an estimated annual cost of Thirteen Thousand <br /> Four Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars ($13,452.00) and a total two-year cost of approximately <br /> Twenty-Six Thousand Nine Hundred Four Dollars ($26,904.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. 1 <br /> n <br /> l <br /> MI AEL T.
