RESOLUTION NO. R2014-21 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER AND COMPANY WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is in need of the professional brokerage and risk management advisory services to secure excess insurance for, and to assist in managing, the City's property/casualty self-insurance program for the period October 1, 2014, through September 30, 2019; and WHEREAS, the brokerage firm of Arthur J. Gallagher And Company is prepared to provide these services the City of Decatur; BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the proposal of Arthur J. Gallagher And Company for the provision of excess insurance brokerage and risk management consulting services to the City of Decatur in the amount of $62,000 for contract period of October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2019 be, and the same is hereby, accepted and approved. Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to negotiate, for and on behalf of the City, an agreement with Arthur J. Gallagher And Company for the above mentioned services in accordance with the proposal for same submitted by said company. Section 3. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute an agreement between the City of Decatur and Arthur J.
