ORDINANCE NO. 2014-39 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 48 - <br /> - NUISANCES — <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 8 of Chapter 48 of the City Code of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby modified and <br /> amended, so that Section 8 as so modified and amended, shall provide as <br /> follows: <br /> 8. WEEDS. ...and the edge of any sidewalk, roadway <br /> or alley under the jurisdiction or control of the City and <br /> abutting such lot of ground, or part thereof; "sidewalk", <br /> "roadway" and "alley", as used herein, shall have the <br /> meanings ascribed thereto in the Illinois Vehicle Code;... <br /> a) For lots with an occupied structure as <br /> determined by active water service and/or usage,... <br /> Section 2.
