<br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2012-84
<br /> AN ORDINANCE LEVYING PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING REVENUE TO MEET CERTAIN
<br /> NECESSARY EXPENSES OF THE CIVIL CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
<br /> BEGINNING MAY 1, 2013 AND ENDING APRIL 30, 2014, AND FIXING A TIME
<br /> WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2012-84, duly passed by the Decatur City Council on December
<br /> 3, 2012, be, and the same is hereby, amended at the table set forth in Section 1 thereof, so that as so
<br /> amended said table in Section 1 shall read as follows:

<br /> Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a duly
<br /> certified copy of this Ordinan;;e to be filed with the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, in time
<br /> and manner as provided by law.
<br /> Section 3. That warrants against and in anticipation of the taxes above levied for the payment of
<br /> the ordinary and necessary expenses of the City are hereby authorized to be drawn by the Mayor and
<br /> City Clerk to the extent of seventy-five percent of the total amount of any such tax levied herein in
<br /> accordance with the Statues in such case made and provided, and subject to the provisions thereof
<br /> Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full-force and effect and after its passage by the Council and
<br /> approval by the Mayor.
<br /> Section 5. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause this
<br /> Ordinance to be published as provided by law.
