ORDINANCE NO. 2011-33 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR 100 BLOCK SOUTH OAKLAND AVENUE BETWEEN WEST MAIN STREET AND WEST WOOD STREET - LOCK STOCK& BARREL - WHEREAS, Lock Stock & Barrel / Oakwood Business Association has requested the closure of Oakland Avenue between West Main and West Wood Street for Block Party Events; and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of Lock Stock & Barrel / Oakwood Business Association to offer alcoholic beverages for sale to patrons for consumption at this event; and, WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in the 100 Block South Oakland Avenue between West Main Street and West Wood Street requires the express approval of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such days, between the hours listed, alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the 100 Block South Oakland Avenue, between West Main Street and West Wood Street, said days and hours being particularly described as follows: Saturday, June 4, 2011 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
