Eaton, Recorder Book: 4028 Page: 497 Receipt w: 27075 Recording Fee: 035.00 Pages Recorded: 9 Authorized By: 1`784884 dell Recorded: 11/3/2009 8:46:45 AM ORDINANCE NO. 2009-73 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 2185 WEST RIEDEL AVENUE - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Keith R. Goodman requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: The West 114 feet of the North 185.09 feet of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SWI/4) of Section 33, Township 17, Range 2 East in Macon County, Illinois. PIN #07-07-33-301-001 and commonly known as 2185 West Riedel, Decatur, IL 62526; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
