R2009-231 I�I <br /> RESOLUTION FOR THE RESTORATION OF <br /> MACARTHUR ROAD BRIDGE OVER STEVEN'S CREEK <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, that there is <br /> hereby appropriated the sum of$260,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of replacing <br /> the MacArthur Road Bridge over Steven's Creek under the applicable provisions of the Illinois <br /> Highway Code. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proposed improvement will consist of <br /> replacing the entire bridge, including deck, superstructure and substructure, (including footings) <br /> of the MacArthur Road Bridge Over Steven's Creek, and performing other repairs as needed, <br /> known as Section No. 08-00602-00-BR. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified <br /> copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, <br /> Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED THIS 16`h day of November, 2009. <br /> C / II <br /> ICHAEL T.
