RESOLUTION NO. R2009-82 ' <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING ' <br /> TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION <br /> OF LOST BRIDGE ROAD BETWEEN LAKE SNORE DRNE <br /> AND COUNTRY CLUB ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Macon ("County") currently has jurisdiction and control over Macon <br /> County Highway 50, Lost Bridge Road between Lake Shore Drive and Country Club Road, which <br /> passes through the City of Decatur; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County wishes to transfer jurisdiction thereof to the City of Decatur; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City is willing to accept responsibilities of the road located within the City of '� <br /> Decatur; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County and the City currently have jurisdiction and control over Macon County <br /> Highway 50, Lost Bridge Road between Lake Shore Drive and Country Club Road; and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the 2009 Lost Bridge Road Reconstruction Project, the County <br /> wishes to transfer jurisdiction thereof to the City of Decatur; and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the 2009 Lost Bridge Road Reconstruction Project, the City is <br /> willing to accept responsibility of the road located in the City of Decatur. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the transfer of jurisdiction of the following road, as described in the <br /> agreement, copy of which is attached hereto, and is hereby, added to, and made part of the Municipal <br /> Street System of the City of Decatur, Macon County, Illinois. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby, authorized and directed to sign the <br /> Jurisdictional Transfer Agreements attached hereto, regarding transfer of jurisdiction of the road from <br /> the County to the City, and they are hereby further authorized and directed to sign any additional <br /> documents required to effect the jurisdictional transfers approved herein upon final completion of <br /> construction work as described in the agreement. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 1 st day of June,1200 � <br /> �, <br /> �; ;,, <br /> ., � .,� ✓, � <br /> ATT�E�T: ,, I HA .
