, 4 � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2008-95 <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS <br /> SERIES 1998 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-34 passed and approved on June 29, 1998, the Council <br /> caused general obligation bonds of the City to be issued and did levy therein certain sums to pay <br /> the principal and interest on said bonds; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds other than those raised by general taxation have or will become <br /> available to timely pay such principal and interest as the same become due in fiscal year 2009- <br /> 2010. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following tax levies for interest on and principal of the indicated i <br /> bonds for the year 2008, payable in the fiscal year 2009-2010, be, and the same are hereby I <br /> abated as follows: �I <br /> Ordinance Number Ordinance Partial Tax II <br /> and Bond Issue Levv Abatement Levv �� <br /> 98-34 - General Obligation I' <br /> Bond, Series 1998 $379,470 $180,412 $ 199,058 <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be, and he is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to partially abate said levy and to extend the same as so abated for the <br /> year 2008. <br /> Section 3.
