VERNON PLACE - <br /> - 4400 BLOCK CANTRELL STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on 1 st day of November, 2007, upon due noti e, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Mt. Vernon P ace Association to further <br /> modify and amend the R-2 Residence Development Plan previously a proved by Ordinance No. <br /> 4914, and as subsequently amended, on premises .situated in the Cit of Decatur, Illinois, and <br /> legally described as follows: <br /> A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section Seventeen <br /> (17), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Three (3) East of he Third Principal <br /> Meridian, said part more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the East right of way line <br /> of 44t" Street and the North right of way line of Cantrell Str et, said point also <br /> being forty (40) feet north of and thirty (30) feet east of the S uthwest corner of <br /> the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of Section Seventeen (17), To ship Sixteen (16) <br /> North, Range 1'hree (3) East of the Third Principal Meridian; t ence N00°00'00"E <br /> (Assumed Bearing) along the East right of way line of 44th treet, 340.00 feet; <br /> thence N90°00'00"E, 443.15 feet; thence S77°30'QO"E, 4 5.00 feet; thence <br /> S17°50'31"E, 260.55 feet to a point on the North right of w y line of Cantrell <br /> Street; thence N89°59'S9"W along the said North right of w y line of Cantrell <br /> Street, 937.91 feet to a point of beginning, containing 6.49 a res, more or less; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission did rep rt its findings and did <br /> recommend that the modification of said R-2 Residence Develop ent Plan as requested be <br /> authorized. <br />
