RESOLUTION NO. R2006-172 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF AN <br /> APPLICATION TO THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> COMMERCE AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRANT <br /> FUNDING AVAILABLE THROUGH THE ILLINOIS EMERGENCY <br /> SHELTER GRANTS PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Decatur hereby authorizes the City's <br /> approval in the Emergency Shelter Grants Program to be administered by The Salvation <br /> Army; and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the request of The Salvation Army, the City of Decatur is <br /> approving the application of The Salvation Army to the State of Illinois Department of <br /> Commerce and Economic Opportunities for grant funding available through the <br /> Emergency Shelter Grants Program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur shall endorse and approve a grant through the <br /> F,mergency Shelter Grants Program as requested by The Salvation Army. <br /> Section 2.
