RESOLUTION NO. R2006-117 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT <br /> ILLINOIS COMMERCE COMMISSION <br /> 27T" STREET/ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY <br /> RAIL GRADE CROSSING PROTECTION IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has entered into Stipulated Agreement No. 1196 with <br /> the Illinois Commerce Commission for the rail grade crossing protection improvements at the <br /> 27th Street (AAR/DOT#291 377C, railroad milepost 29.00-P)highway-rail grade crossing of <br /> the Illinois Central Railroad Company's main track in Decatur, Illinois. <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said improvements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Twelve thousand, six hundred <br /> forty-four and 00/00 Dollars ($12,644.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any <br /> money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay for its share of the cost of this improvement <br /> as described in the Agreement. <br /> Section 2.
