(Commonly known as 3230 Greenview Drive, Decatur, Illinois.); <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated <br /> town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public ' <br /> highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same ' <br /> are hereby, annexed to and aze incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a ', <br /> municipal corporation.
