<br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE
<br /> - CHAPTER 7 - OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY -
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois,
<br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 2, as so modified and
<br /> amended, shall provide as follows:
<br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have the
<br /> power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Deputy City Manager,
<br /> Assistant City Managers, Assistant to the City Manager, all directors of
<br /> departments, all deputy and assistant department directors, fire marshals, battalion
<br /> chiefs, police personnel above the rank of sergeant, division managers,
<br /> administrative secretaries, members of the Lega1 Department, Personnel
<br /> Specialists, Training Officer, Human Relations Specialists, Systems Administrator,
<br /> Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Auditor, Risk Management Assistant,
<br /> Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant City Engineer, Civil Engineer
<br /> I, Civil Engineer II, Fleet Supervisor, Water Production Maintenance Supervisor,
<br /> Engineering Technician Supervisor, CAD System Coordinator, Maintenance
<br /> Supervisor, Traf�c and Parking Supervisor, City Forester, Foreman, Economic
<br /> Development Coordinator, Building Inspections Manager, Senior Planner,
<br /> Planners, Planning Manager, Neighborhood and Housing Planner, Senior Crime
<br /> Analyst, Crime Analyst, Emergency Communications Supervisors, Neighborhood
<br /> Redevelopment Manager, Neighborhood Inspections Administrator,
<br /> Neighborhood Program Specialist, Enterprise Zone Administrator, and Temporary
<br /> and seasonal employees.
