ORDINANCE NO. 2004-98 <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS <br /> SERIES OF AUGUST 1991 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 91-58 passed and approved August 19, 1991, the Council <br /> caused general obligation bonds of the City to be issued and did levy therein certain sums to pay <br /> the principal and interest on said bonds; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds have become available from other sources to pay, in part, such interest <br /> and principal as the same becomes due and payable. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That the following tax levies for interest on and principal of the indicated <br /> bonds for the year 2004, payable in the fiscal year 2005-2006, be, and the same are hereby <br /> partially abated as follows: <br /> Ordinance Nuxnber Ordinance Partial Tax <br /> and Bond Issue Levv Abatement Levv <br /> 91-58 - General Purpose <br /> Bonds, Series 1991 $1,455,000 $ 1,386,753 $ 68,247 <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be and he is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to abate in part said levies and to extend the same as so abated for the <br /> year 2004. <br />
