RESOLUTION NO. R2002-200 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH <br /> THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT VARIOUS INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has entered into Agreement JN-502015 with the State of <br /> Illinois for the improvements of traffic signals at various intersections in the City, known as State <br /> Sections 13(Z,Z-1)TS-1 & 12R-TS; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said improvements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Sixty thousand two hundred <br /> seventy and 00/00 Dollars ($60,270.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any money <br /> now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay for its share of the cost of this improvement as <br /> described in the Agreement. <br /> Section 2. That upon award of the contract for this improvement, the City will pay the <br /> Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois in a lump sum from any funds allotted to the <br /> City, an amount equal to 95% of its obligation incurred under this Agreement, and will pay to the <br /> said Department the remainder of the obligation (including any non-participation costs of FAP <br /> projects) in a luxnp sum,upon completion of the project based upon final costs. <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to sign, seal and attest said agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 4th day of Nov , . <br /> T M.
