R2002-185 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT <br /> GALLAGHER BASSETT SERVICES, INCORPORATE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has a current contract expiring September 30, 2003, and <br /> is in need of the professional claims administration, loss prevention consulting, and loss <br /> reporting of a third party administrator for the City's property/casualty self-insurance program for <br /> the period October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2005; and <br /> WHEREAS, the third party administrator Gallagher Bassett Services, Incorporated, is <br /> prepared to provide these services for the City of Decatur; <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the proposal of Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., for the provision of <br /> claims administration, loss prevention and loss reporting services to the City of Decatur be, and <br /> the same is hereby, accepted and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> negotiate, for and on behalf of the City, an agreement with Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., for <br /> the above-mentioned services in accordance with the proposal for same submitted by said <br /> company. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute an agreement between the City of Decatur and Gallagher Bassett Services, <br /> Inc., for the above-mentioned services. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 20 . <br /> TERRY M.
