• v <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2002-108 <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS <br /> SERIES DECEMBER 1995 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 95-77 passed and approved December 19, 1995, the <br /> Council caused general obligation refunding bonds of the City to be issued and did levy therein <br /> certain sums to pay the principal and interest on said bonds; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds other than those raised by general taxation have or will become <br /> available to timely pay such principal and interest as the same become due in fiscal year <br /> 2003-2004. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following tax levies for interest on and principal of the indicated <br /> bonds for the year 2002,payable in the fiscal year 2003-2004,be, and the same are hereby abated <br /> as follows: <br /> Ordinance Number Ordinance Full Tax <br /> and Bond Issue Le� Abatement Levv <br /> 95-77 - General Obligation <br /> Refunding Bonds, Series 1995 $326,909 $326,909 $ 0 <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be, and he is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to fully abate said levy and to not extend the same for the year 2002. <br />
