ORDINANCE NO. 2002-08 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY STREET AND PROHIBITING AND RESTRICTING PARKING - 300 BLOCK SOUTH WATER STREET - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That when appropriate signs or markings are provided giving notice thereof, a portion of South Water Street from the north right-of-way line of Macon Street to the south right-of-way line of Washington Street be, and the same is hereby, established as a one-way street for northbound traffic only and all vehicles traveling on said portion of said street shall travel north. Section 2. That when appropriate signs or markings are provided giving notice thereof, parking be, and it is hereby, prohibited at all times on the east side of South Water Street from the north right-of-way line of Macon Street to the south right-of-way line of Washington Street. Section 3. That when appropriate signs or markings are provided giving notice thereof, parking be, and it is hereby, restricted to vehicles operated by employees of the Federal government or State or local units of government and used for law enforcement purposes, at all times on the west side of South Water Street from the north right-of-way line of Macon Street to the south right-of-way line of Washington Street.
