ORDINANCE NO. 2000-50 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY -800 BLOCK WEST MCHINLEY AVENUE - WHEREAS, on the 1 st day of June, 2000, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Steve Horve, Jr. to rezone premises described as: Tract 1 - A part of the West Half (W %Z) of the Southwest Quarter (SW %) of Section 3 Township 16 North Range 2 East said part described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 1 of a subdivision of the North part of the West part of the said Southwest %4; thence South 565.29 feet; thence East 157.05 feet; thence North 285.29 feet; thence West 80 feet; thence North 280 feet; thence West 77.05 feet to the point of beginning containing 1.47 acres, more or less. Tract 2 - The West 80 feet of the East 347.33 feet of the North 280 feet of a Subdivision in the West Half (W %2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW %) of Section 3, Township 16 North Range 3 East, containing 0.51 acres,more or less, from R-1 Single Family Residence District to R-6 Multiple Dwelling District; and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby,received,placed on file and approved.
