ORDINANCE NO. 99-104 <br /> ORDINANCE SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE <br /> FOR PROPOSED OLDE TOWNE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, <br /> AND RELATED MATTERS <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois (the "Municipality") <br /> intends to undertake preliminary proceedings related to a proposed redevelopment project area <br /> (the "Olde Towne Redevelopment Project Area"), an area generally bounded by Eldorado and <br /> North Streets on the north, North Franklin Street on the east, West Decatur Street on the south, <br /> and Fairview Avenue on the west, and also extended north along Fairview Avenue to include <br /> Fairview Plaza, said district legally described as follows: <br /> Commencing at a point of beginning at the intersection of the East <br /> right-of-way line of North Franklin Street and the North right-of-way line <br /> of East Eldorado Street; thence South along the East right-of-way line of <br /> Franklin Street to the South right-of-way line of East Wood Street; thence <br /> West along the South right-of-way line of Wood Street to the East <br /> right-of-way line of South Union Street; thence South along the East <br /> right-of-way line of South Union Street to the South right-of-way line of <br /> West Decatur Street; thence West along the South right-of-way line of West <br /> Decatur Street to the West right-of-way line of South Fairview Avenue; <br /> thence North along the West right-of-way line of Fairview Avenue to the <br /> intersection of the West right-of-way line of North Fairview Avenue and the <br /> South right-of-way line of West Eldorado Street; thence West along the <br /> South right-of-way line of West Eldorado Street to the West right-of-way <br /> line of North McClellan Street; thence North along the West right-of-way <br /> line of North McClellan Street to the North right-of-way line of the Norfolk <br /> Southern Railway; thence West along the North right-of-way line of the <br /> Norfolk Southern Railway to the West property line of the Westdale <br /> Shopping Center (Fairview Plaza), said property line being the West line of <br /> the Southeast % of Section 9, Township 16 North, Range 2 East; thence <br /> North along the said West property line of Westdale Shopping Center to the <br />
