That Section 37 of Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, by adding a new subsection (j) thereto, said <br /> subsection(j)to provide as follows: <br /> 37. ... <br /> (j) When any vehicle is parked or left standing on any street or <br /> alley that has had parking temporarily restricted by order of the Police <br /> Chief, pursuant to Section 7 hereof, for purposes of maintenance or <br /> repair. <br /> Section 2. That said Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and <br /> it is hereby, further modified and amended at Section 38 (B) thereof, so that as so modified and <br /> amended, said Section 38 (B) shall provide as follows: <br /> 38. ... <br /> (B)A police officer may remove or cause to be removed a vehicle <br /> as authorized herein without notice to the owner thereof whenever such <br /> vehicle is parked or abandoned so as to constitute an immediate hazard <br /> or obstruction to other vehicles on or seeking access to public streets or <br /> alleys, or so as to prevent or hinder repair to, or maintenance of, streets <br /> or alleys with temporary parking restrictions for that purpose, provided <br />
