. a <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-24 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 34 - <br /> - TRAFFIC - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is <br /> hereby, amended and modified at Section 35 thereof, so that said Section 35, as amended, shall <br /> provide as follows: <br /> 35. ABANDONED VEHICLES. <br /> (A) No person shall stand, park, leave, or abandon any vehicle <br /> on the property of another without the consent of the owner of said <br /> property. <br /> (B) No person shall stop, stand, park or leave a vehicle on a <br /> public street or alley for a period of time in excess of 72 hours, other <br /> than in a metered area. <br /> C No erson shall sto stand ark or leave a vehicle in <br /> � ) > > a <br /> P P p <br />' metered parking space or in a space within an area controlled by a <br />� designated parking time limit on a street or in any municipal off-street <br /> parking facility for a period in excess of twenty-four (24) hours, except <br /> pursuant to the terms of a current, valid permit issued by the City of <br /> Decatur Finance Department. <br />
