ORDINANCE NO. 97-41 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 612 EAST MOUND ROAD - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 1 st day of May, 1997, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Timothy M. Dowd to rezone premises <br /> described as: <br /> Lots Thirteen (13) and Seventeen (17) of Virginia's Third Addition <br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 802 Page 161 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, and the South 417.4 <br /> feet of the West 208.7 feet of the East 1262.1 feet of the Southwest <br /> Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 26, Township 17 North, Range 2 East <br /> of the Third P.M. <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be denied. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />� OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and disapproved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-1 <br /> SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. <br />
