. • � - <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 97-16 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - EAST DECATUR AND SOUTH STONE STREETS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on East Decatur Street approaching South Stone Street from the east or west shall stop <br /> and yield the right-of-way to vehicles on South Stone Street which have entered the intersection <br /> of said streets or which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, <br /> but said driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe <br /> interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br />� Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br />, Section 3.
