RESOLUTION NO. R99-166 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> DOWNSTATE OPERATING ASSISTANCE GRANT AGREEMENT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur enter into a certain Downstate Public Transportation <br /> Operating Assistance Agreement, contract #2907, OP-00-08-IL, ("Agreement") with the State of <br /> Illinois in order to obtain grant assistance under the provisions of the Illinois Downstate Public <br /> Transportation Act(30 ILCS 740/2-1,et se�c.). <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor, or his designee, and the City Clerk, be, and they are hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City, and any such prior <br /> executions by said officers are hereby ratified and approved <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor, or his designee, and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, <br /> authorized to provide such information and to execute and file such documents as may be <br /> required to perform the Agreement and to receive the Grant. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October, 1999. <br /> _. ���'�,,,�� <br /> TERRY .
