ORDINANCE NO. 2016-47 <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF SOUTH ILLINOIS STREET AND EAST LINCOLN AVENUE <br /> FACING EAST LINCOLN AVENUE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on East Lincoln Avenue approaching South Illinois Street from the east and west shall stop <br /> and yield the right-of-way to vehicles on South Illinois Street which have entered the intersection of <br /> said street or which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said <br /> driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval <br /> occurs. <br /> Section 2.
