ORDINANCE NO. � ' / U AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY - 900 WEST MCKINLEY AVENUE- WHEREAS, on the 4th day of November, 1993 , upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Steve Horve to rezone premises described as: Part of the West Half (W 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 3 , Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , Macon County, Illinois, said tract being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 270 . 80 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4 ) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of said Section 3 , running thence West for 150 . 00 feet; thence North for 320 . 40 feet; thence East for 150. 00 feet; thence South for 320 . 40 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1 . 10 acres, more or less, located in the County of Macon, State of Illinois, from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2 . That said described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT. Section 3 . That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those districts set forth and defined in Ordinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, and all the provisions, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall apply to the premises above described herein.
