V ^' �� <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVIES FOR BOND <br /> SERVICE - SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE BONDS <br /> WHEREAS, by the respective ordinances authorizing the issuance thereof <br /> certain taxes were levied for the year 1989 payable in the year 1990 to pay <br /> the interest on and principal of certain bonds of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds have become available from other sources to pay, in part, <br /> such interest and principal as the same becomes due and paya3le. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following tax levies for interest on and principal <br /> of the indicated bonds for the year 1989, payable in the year 1990, be, and <br /> the same are hereby partially abated as follows: <br /> Ordinance Number Ordinanca <br /> and Bond Issue Levy Abatement Abated Levy <br /> 83-46-Surface Water <br /> Drainage Bonds, 1983 <br /> Refunding $ I,858,985 $ 850,000 $ 1,008.985 <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be <br /> and he is hereby, autnorized and directed to abate in part said levies and to <br /> extend the same as so abated for the year 1989. <br /> Section 3.
