` : i <br /> . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �-' / � II! <br /> � I <br /> ORDINANCE REGARDING PAY AND CERTAIN BENEFITS <br /> - POLICE SERVICE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That effective May 1 , 1989 , and subject to the ' <br /> applicable provisions of existing ordinance or administrative <br /> order not inconsistent herewith, those positions assigned by <br /> ordinance or administrative order to pay grades or ranges in the <br /> police service be, and they are hereby, authorized to have <br /> attached thereto, and employees occupying said positions on May <br /> 1 , 1989, be, and they are hereby, authorized to be paid, the <br /> respective salary or wage set out for each such grade or range as <br /> shown on Exhibit A, said Exhibit A being attached hereto and <br /> hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2. (a) That the salary and wage applicable to <br /> police patrol officers shall be increased by 10$ for such <br /> officers who are assigned to plain clothes duty in the <br /> Investigations Bureau by order of the Chief of Police for the <br /> period during which said officers are so assigned. <br /> (b) That the salary and wage applicable to police <br /> patrol officers shall be increased by 5$ for such officers who <br /> are designated as Master Patrol Officers by order of the Chief of <br /> Police for the period during which said officers are so assigned. ' <br /> Section 3 . That until the further order of the Council and <br /> effective the date hereof, an amount up to $175. 83 be, and it is <br /> hereby, authorized to be paid monthly on behalf of each employee <br /> in the classified police service participating in the dependent <br /> coverage por-cion of the medical, major medical and hospital group <br /> insurance plan, but only during such participation. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 20th day of <br /> November, 1989 . <br /> MA - <br /> ATTEST: <br /> � . <br /> . <br /> TY CLERK <br />
